About the Author

Rosalind Davis is an artist, curator, teacher, writer and designer. A graduate of RCA (2005) and Chelsea College of Art (2003), Davis has exhibited nationally and internationally. Solo shows include: no format Gallery (2017), the Bruce Castle Museum (2013); John Jones & Julian Hartnoll Gallery (2009); The Residence Gallery (2007). Selected group exhibitions: The Courtauld Institute; JGM Gallery, Arthouse1, Bo Lee Gallery. Her work is held in a number of private and public collections including Soho House.

Davis has curated over 30 exhibitions to date and in 2023 curated, with Laura Hudson, an ambitious group show at Arthouse Jersey, exhibiting 23 acclaimed international artists and at Platforms, an independent art fair in Athens. Davis was the Curator at Collyer Bristow Gallery in London 2016-20. Previous curatorial projects have been with Thorp Stavri, Standpoint Gallery, Arthouse1 and Geddes Gallery. Davis co-directed Zeitgeist Arts Projects (2012-15) and Core Gallery 2010-12. In both organizations she ran a number of curatorial projects, an artist's education programme as well as tutorials and art tours. In 2023 she recently delivered a Curatorial Residency for UK New Artists.
